In a winter you can jig and ski on the frozen Saint Lake (Pyhäjärvi).
In Mikkola field yard you also can find grill hut, where for example you can fry pancakes on a campfire. In snowstorm and in windy weather grill hut provides warm and romantic shelter from the outdoor activities in a winter time. On the shore there is campfire place for frying sausages and stick backed roll.
